The old mare walked along slowly, her tail swishing in annoyance as flies buzzed in her ears. She noticed other horses around. She snorted and warily lowered her head to graze.

Lilykit bounded into the nursery after being scolded by her mother. She froze as she saw Stormypaw looking anguished as he stood over Larkkit. "What's wrong?" she asked, her voice tiny as she looked at Stormypaw with thoughtful blue-green eyes. "Is Larkkit okay?" She padded over to Larkkit and prodded his side with one pink-padded paw. He felt very cold, and she flinched.

Lilykit padded out of the nursery, looking serious. What did it mean? Why did Larkkit have to leave? She couldn't quite wrap her head around him going to StarClan.

Athira's gold gaze trailed after Gen as he went to the Medic's Den. Strong for an omega, but not strong enough, she thought to herself. She felt a pang of worry as she wondered if her unborn pups would ever have to fight like that one day. She pushed the thought aside and trotted to the shade of a pine tree, and set herself carefully down onto the springy bed of pine needles. She felt a slight kick from one of her pups. Not long now, she thought excitedly.

[size=8]The calico she-cat padded along briskly, feeling the irritating ache in her soft white paws. Her plumy white-tipped tail lashed slightly. How much longer? She then realised that was a silly thought; no one knew how much longer. As she kept a steady pace, she tilted her head and examined the crystalline river. Her soft green gaze darted as she saw a flash of silver. Fish! She hoped another one would come her way, so she could snatch it up. Suddenly, there was a thud and she looked behind her and saw that Firefly had fallen over. Her long fur bristled in alarm."Firefly!" she gasped, rushing to the she-cat's side. Firefly's flanks were heaving. "Help! Firefly!" she yowled. She gathered Firefly's poor little kits and soothed them with licks. She nudged Firefly's flank desperately.[/size]

"Sorry, it just scared me," she mewed to Oak, her fur laying flat once again and her heart beat slowing. "I'll be right back." She pulled some luscious emerald moss from a rock and dipped it in the river, letting it soak the water up. She brought it to Firefly. "Here you go," she meowed, placing the moss in front of the she-cat so she could lap the water up.

Hello everyone. I am in need of an avatar for one of my characters. I am not able to pay any real money.
